The first time I ever went to Happening, I had no clue what to expect. Even though I grew up around the Happening program my whole life - thanks to my dad - Happening was still a surprise for me.
It turned out to be one of the best weekends of my life. I grew as a person in many ways, especially in my faith and friendships. I developed a closer relationship with God because I experienced the Holy Spirit firsthand through the love shared by everyone throughout the weekend.
The friends I made at Happening are some of the closest friends I have because the bond we share is on a deep spiritual level - a bond that can only be created in a place like Happening.
I've been told my whole life that my faith is like a path that I walk on.
And everything I do can be a step forward or a step back from God.
One of the biggest leaps you can take on your path is to attend Happening. So take that leap! The best is yet to come!
